A large turnout for Sheila’s wonderful presentation, of 36 members and 3 guests.
The schools Sheila attended and later taught at, showed great contrasts in education. From World War Two in Scotland with damp and cold granite buildings, children wearing gas masks and enduring rationing, to the free and easy skiing and hot chocolate in Switzerland, followed by the vast deserts of the Western Australian outback.
Sheila’s passion for education is an inspiration to us all.
